Located at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, the Scout memorial remembers those who have given service and particularly those that have suffered in conflict.
The memorial was unveiled in 2016 after a huge fund raising effort. It features a group gathered around a campfire whose fibreglass flames dance back and forth in the wind.
It has become a custom that visiting Scouts put their necker (group colours) on the sitting figure and take a picture.
